Asian wealth management platform Endowus has secured an additional US$17.5 million, bringing the total of its latest fundraising to US$52.5 million and its total fundraising to date to US$110 million.
New investors include Malaysia-based OSK Ventures and Asia Companion Fund ( ACF ) managed by The Wells Investment and JLIN, the firm established to make positive impact by professional basketball star Jeremy Lin. The investment marks ACF’s first fintech investment in Asia. Existing investors that committed additional capital include Prosus, UBS and MUFG Innovation Partners.
The new funding will fuel the continued expansion of Endowus’ growth and services in Hong Kong and Singapore, with a focus on heavy investments in talent and technologies – including its adoption of artificial intelligence – to enhance the client experience and operational efficiency.
The platform, it says, will also continue to expand investment offerings for alternatives, including hedge funds and private market investors under its Endowus Private Wealth brand, working with leading global general partners such as Apollo, Ares, Blackstone, Blue Owl, Carlysle, EQT, KKR, Partners Group and many others.
